 Art - Cyma - Painting - Architecture The painting cyma is a moulding positioning near the ceiling the profile of which allows to affix it hooks to suspend painting and frame. By analogy we call cyma the walls of a gallery. Internet gave birth to a new variant of the traditional art gallery, the art gallery onto Internet. Art and Cyma on AquitaineOnLine has for vocation to be a place of discovery and pleasure. The art is a game with the sensitive appearances, the colours, the forms and the volumes. Today, the art establishes a relation which allows to contain in the same interaction, in the same exchange, a work, his{*her*} creator and the receiver of this work. The art under quite its forms defines itself by its aesthetic dimension. "Face à face : l’Art du Portrait". Exposition de peintures et de sculptures à Saint Jean Pied de Port. 7 femmes artistes, 7 façons de faire des portraits. Depuis l’invention de la photographie, en effet, le portraitiste n’a plus besoin de faire une représentation exacte de la personne qu’il peint. 
Exposition de douze sculptures monumentales de l’artiste français Bernar Venet dans les principaux sites de l’espace public de Bordeaux.
Avec près de 90 toiles et pièces de ferronnerie d'artistes célèbres haïtiens, l'exposition présente un ensemble d'œuvres issues d'une collection privée bordelaise, constituée par Monsieur et Madame Arnaud au cours de leurs nombreux voyages en Haïti.
À l’occasion du 70ème anniversaire du bombardement de Gernika, le musée Basque et de l’Histoire de Bayonne propose, en partenariat avec son homologue de Bilbao, une exposition déclinée en trois thèmes. 
Peintre, théoricien et historien du cubisme, André Lhote né à Bordeaux en 1885 est l'une des plus illustres figures artistiques de Bordeaux. La collection du musée des beaux-arts fait honneur à cet artiste jusqu'en septembre.
